Plasma gasification operates at 3,000–10,000°C (vs. 500–1,000°C for incineration), generates more energy per ton of waste (816 kWh vs. 544 for standard mixed waste), produces zero dioxins, and results in inert slag usable as construction aggregate. It handles mixed municipal waste, hospital waste, and biomass without pre-sorting.
